The second part of our series is going to help you narrow down which breed may be best to bring home. It is super important that you do your research, as your next canine friend will probably be with you for the next 8-18 years.  Getting started on which breed may be best can be overwhelming, so the AKC has provided two useful tools to help you narrow it down, the Dog Breed Selector and You Vs. The Breed.
The Dog Breed Selector takes into consideration your location, living circumstances, living style and several other factors to determine 3 breeds that may be compatable for your home. The You vs. The Breed compares your traits indicated by your Facebook Account and compares it to the breed traits of a breed you select or may have interest in to see how compatable you are.
