Dr. Leah Faudskar is a 1987 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an additional year of training in a medical/surgical internship at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Faudskar returned to the U of MN to develop and complete a residency in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care becoming the first veterinarian in the state of Minnesota to train and certify in this specialty. Dr. Faudskar practiced emergency medicine for 12 years in the St. Paul/Minneapolis metropolitan area, as well as, taught veterinary students at the U of MN. She and her family moved to Winger, MN to open Prairie Pet Clinic in 2002. In 2010, she bought Valley Animal Hospital and has remodeled it to become Crookston Pet Clinic, as it is known today.

Born in McIntosh, Woody Enerson has returned to the home of his grandparents in Winger, MN to manage Crookston and Prairie Pet Clinic. Woody’s cheerful presence is felt in the office, on the telephone and in Prairie Pet Clinic advertising. He works tirelessly in front and behind the scenes to keep the business operational.

After earning her degree in Equine Science from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, Kaytlin Winkels joined the Crookston Pet Clinic staff in 2014 as the receptionist and vet assistant. It will most likely be her upbeat voice you hear when calling in to schedule your pet's appointment.

After graduating from Globe University Moorhead from the Veterinary Technician program, Arianna Aalgaard joined the Crookston and Prairie Pet Clinic Staff in June 2017. She assists the Veterinarian and will be the new friendly face you see when you bring your pet in to our clinic. In her free time she enjoys spending time on the farm with all of her pets, some of which include: dogs, chickens, ducks, and miniature donkey.
